Fitteds are a great “newborn” solution. These are for both day & night time use (unlike the regular OSFM size hemp fitted nappy which is specifically a night time nappy).
Not only are they super absorbent, since the absorbent layers completely wrap around baby, the chances of leaks are minimised.
Both hemp and bamboo fitted nappies are very absorbent and both will perform very well for newborn babies. Hemp is slightly more absorbent – especially for night times.
Needs a waterproof cover (PUL, fleece or wool)
